Hello my loves,
I was at the drugstore the other day looking for an eyeshadow palette when I saw Physicians Formula’s (PF) new skincare and makeup collection. Their new collection includes two Butter Eyeshadow palettes and about 12 murumuru Butter Lip Cream. They also released three Skin Booster Vitamin Shots, a Matcha Cleansing Balm, and a coconut Milk Eye Makeup Remover. Here are the products I decided to try from the collection.
The retail price on their website is $16.95. The palette comes in Sultry Night and Tropical Days. I got mine in Tropical Days. The colors as you can see are beautiful, however, the color payoff on some of the shadows is not the greatest. Also, as you guys can see from the swatches below some of the lighter colors look very similar on my skin tone. My favorite shades on this palettes are the middle ones as shown in the second picture below. All I have to say is that I wasn’t super impressed with it.
If you would like a more in-depth review about this palette you should check out Always Cleia’ blog post. She did an excellent job reviewing this palette.
THE PERFECT MATCHA 3-IN-1 MELTING CLEANSING BALM
The Perfect Matcha is my favorite product so far out of the three products I got. I really like this product as a makeup remover (Keep in mind, I barely wear makeup). The product comes with a spatula which you use to scoop a small amount. The product melts into the skin very easily and a little goes a long way. One of the things I really like is that is not super greasy and it does not irritate my skin.
According to their website, this product is “Hypoallergenic. Paraben-Free. Gluten Free. Dermatologist Tested. Non-Comedogenic. Clinically Tested. Safe For Sensitive Eyes & Contact Lens Wearers. Ophthalmologist Tested. Vegan. Cruelty-Free.”
Last but not least, PF came out with three Skin Booster Vitamin Shot: BRIGHTENING, HYDRATING, & TIME-RESTORING. I got mine in Brightening. This product retails for $12.95.
According to their website, this serum targets uneven skin tone, as well as help reduce dark spots. One of the key ingredients is vitamin c. The serum is meant to be applied before your moisturizer and it can be layered with their other Skin Booster Vitamin Shots.
So far I haven’t seen a dramatic difference in my skin but I will keep you guys updated. The product feels just like any other serum and it gets absorbed into the skin very easily. All of their vitamin shots come in a glass bottle with a dropper.
