Mid-Week Skin Detox

Hello beautiful souls,

This week has been quite hectic for me and on top of that, I got a few pimples. This started happening right after my I ran out of my Tata Harper sample and started using a different moisturizer. I will take this as a sign that I should invest on the Tata Harper – Repairative Moisturizer.  Man, I love that stuff.

Today I will be showing how simple it is to give your skin a quick detox. All you need is two ingredients. Water and Now Moroccan Red Clay Powder. I get my clay from Vitacost.

I like this clay mask because it helps me with my oily skin without over drying it.

This is how Vitacost describes this product:

NOW Foods Solutions Moroccan Red Clay Powder Description
  • 100% Pure
  • Facial Detox
  • Sensitive Skin Types

Condition: Sensitive Skin in need of detoxification to remove impurities and in need of a smaller pore size and tighter skin tone.

Solution: Moroccan Red Clay is a natural powder clay that is highly absorbent and mixes easily with water and other moisturizing products. It serves as an excellent facial cleanser and purifying masque, especially for individuals with sensitive skin.

This product is guaranteed to be 100% natural.

Ingredients: Moroccan red clay powder.

It cannot get simpler than that! I like to mix it with water and make a very thin paste. I then go ahead and apply a thin layer on my skin. I use it on my face as well as my neck and sometimes on my decolletage. I leave the mask for about 15-20 mins and then I rinse my face or use a damp cloth. I then follow with a moisturizer.

Note: I do experience some redness after removing this mask, but it goes away.
