First of all, Happy August! This year is flying by so fast. Today, I decided to share with you some of my favorite items from the month of July.
Let’s start with skin care!
I have been loving these 3 products right here.
As you may already know, I got this cleanser from Influenster and I have to say that I am extremely pleased with it. It is very gentle and gets the job done without over drying my skin.
I got this product as a gift from one of my friends and I have to say that it is definitely worth every penny. This serum helps resurface dull and congested skin. While using this product I have seen a significant difference in my skin.
People always rave about Tata Harper products all the time. I have always wanted to try it, but the price tag kept me away for a while. In my search for a good moisturizer, I did a moisture test at Sephora and came to find out that my skin was dehydrated. I personally have combination skin, which means that my t zone is very oily. After trying this product for a couple of days I have seen an incredible difference in how my skin feels and look. The product is very light and it does not irritate my skin. I think I will be buying the full-size product despite the price tag.
I have been loving this palette! I got it from TJ Maxx for around $5. The color pigmentation is great and lets not even talk about the price. Click here to see my blog post with swatches.
This is perhaps one of my favorite “everyday” product. It comes with a matte bronzer, blush, and highlighter which makes it great for traveling. I sometimes use this as an eyeshadow palette as well. Like I said, great for traveling.
Got this mascara as part of a campaign for influenster and it has become a staple since then.
Josie Maran Argan Enlightenment Illuminizing Wand
I love using this highlighter as a body highlighter. I like to use it on my shoulder whenever I wear off shoulder tops.
Last but not least,
A book I listened to in July was Born a Crime by Trevor Noah. Not only do I love how funny this guy is on The Daily Show, but his book is just so refreshing. It gave me a better understanding of the Apartheid period in South Africa. His childhood stories are just so fun to read and it really gives you an understanding of who he is. Definitely, a must read.
What are some of you guy’s favorites?
Thanks for reading,
