I love using chia seeds in my smoothies or oatmeal. However, one of my favorite ways to get all their nutritional value is by making Chia seed pudding. ❤
Here a simple, yummy and nutritious breakfast or snack idea.
I personally like to use two ingredients:
2 cups of milk (I use Trader Joe’s vanilla soy milk. This way, I don’t have to add sugar/sweeteners)
1/2 cup of chia seeds
*This is good for 4 servings. If you want fewer servings you can do 1 cup of milk and 1/4 cup of chia seeds.
In a bowl or mason jar, mix together chia seeds and the milk. If you’re using a mason jar, you can put the lid on and shake the mixture to combine everything.
Once everything is well combined, let it sit for a couple of minutes, give it another stir/shake (this will help prevent and/or break up the clumps of chia seeds). Trust me, you do not want clumps! Then, just cover the bowl/mason jar again and put it back in the fridge for a couple of hours (1-2 hours). I like to leave mine overnight.
After a couple of hours or the next day, you will see that it has become a gel looking thing. (I don’t know how to explain it 😂 ) Then, all you have to do is serve it by itself or with fruit.

- Coconut flakes 🌴
- Banana 🍌
- Strawberry 🍓
- Kiwi 🥝
The great thing about chia is that you can play around with flavors and textures.
