Travel Diary: Puerto Rico

IMG_0006
Hello everyone,

If you follow me on Instagram or snapchat, you will already know that I spent a couple of days in Puerto Rico. This trip was definitely not planned at all. I have a couple of family members who live there and wanted me to go visit them.I was already going to the Dominican Republic for a few weeks, so traveling to PR was not difficult at all. Unfortunately, I went to PR on the weekend of 4th of July. which meant that everywhere we went was pack.  We wanted to go to Culebra Island, but it was impossible for us to get tickets. Therefore, make sure you book your tickets ahead of time. Culebra Island is still on my bucket list.

Since we only had a few days we decided to make the best of them. We went to a couple of beaches close to where we stayed. As far as first impressions, I thought that San Juan was very similar to the states. I do not know why, but I was expecting something a bit different. I also got the worse stomach-ache my second day there.I  guess my stomach was not used to eating that much-fried food. Which seem very common in the island. I cannot wait to go back and explore and visit other parts of the island.

*Stay tune on my youtube channel for a Travel Diary video.

Here is a little recap of my first time in Puerto Rico.

Despite this bad quality picture, Rincon Iberico was one of my favorite restaurants in Puerto Rico. The food and the prices were amazing. Not only that, but the owner of the restaurant was extremely friendly. They also have the best lemonades in town. Make sure to stop by on your way to El Morro.
